Architecture
BEAUTY IS NOT JUST “BRICK DEEP”
Architecture cannot exist alone in its world of creativity. It must achieve the perfect balance of form, function and technology while being responsive to site, fiscal and environmental considerations. Client aspirations can be realized when the Client, Architect and Constructor work together as a collaborative and consensus-building team. In this way, control and flexibility are maintained throughout the design and construction process.
We believe that design should do more than just look good. As a design-driven organization, we create environments that are as functional as they are beautiful. We understand that every design decision is a dollar decision, and we work to maximize both your vision and budget. People tell us that they love working in Chamberlain buildings, not only because the light, bright airy environments inspire productivity, but because the efficiently designed floor plans make their work flow easily. We know that your team is your most valuable resource so we design the kind of spaces where talented people love to work. We create the environments that support your vision, the evolution of your enterprise and the place from which you will write your stories.
Construction Management
BEING ARCHITECTS MAKES US BETTER CONSTRUCTORS
The construction phase of a project is very exciting. This is when, after many months, the client’s dream and the architect’s vision finally take physical form. It is crucial, during this phase, that the Constructor be the Owners Advocate, not just a broker of trades. Having access to a team of Architects, is an invaluable resource for our Constructors, and one of the ways we save our clients time and money. Our full time Safety Officer coordinates orientations, inspections and training, so you can rest assured that safety is paramount on your project. Construction is a complex and detailed process that must be guided by experienced professionals who are passionate about the role they play in creating exceptional buildings. Chamberlain’s construction team uses the best available construction methods and materials to shape renovation and new construction projects that exceed their owner’s expectations.
Management
A WINNING TEAM NEEDS A GREAT COACH
The integration of design and construction, creating the partnership between Owner, Constructor and Architect does not just happen. It takes a Project Manager, or Integrator as we like to call it, to lead the process of design, approvals, commissioning and construction. The Integrator’s job is much more than just administrative organization. At Chamberlain, our Integrator's role is much like that of a sports team’s coach. We are constantly looking for opportunities to improve the interaction of the team, adjusting strategies as necessary to resolve challenges and using all of our experience and creativity to guide our projects to victory. It is the passionate pursuit of project success that gives Chamberlain Project Management its exceptional value.
Interior Design
A HOLISTIC APPROACH
Continuing with our integrated approach Chamberlain offers Interior Design Services which allows us to further balance the art and science of a space and thus the lines between where interior design begins and architecture ends are blurred. This ensures that all aspects of a space that will affect human habitation are intelligently and seamlessly addressed. We make being Bold a Comfortable process for all our clients.
Design at Chamberlain thrives on a strong relationship with our clients and our ability to dissect their intent/vision, overcome design obstacles and assist with bringing an idea to a real-life spatial experience.
We live in an exciting time where Society is now demanding a higher standard of creativity to the spaces they use. And as such we can change how people use and respond to a space.
"By shaping the objects, interactions, and environments we live around and within, design literally changes the world.” Ingrid Fetell.
